Villa Mimosas, an exceptional villa for its category, which promises peace, light and serenity. Mimoses, Santa Cristina d'Aro

Villa Mimosas is an exceptional 762 m2 villa built in 1991 on one of the best plots of land in the Les Teules urbanization in Santa Cristina d'Aro, just three minutes from the center of Castell d'Aro, and another 5 and 10 minutes from Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Palamós, respectively, the largest commercial and social centers of the Baix Empordà.
In 2022, a reform and interior design project was carried out, directed by The Floor studio, from Barcelona, in collaboration with the interior designer Blanca Tey. This project provides Villa Mimosas with an update focused on the use of the ground floor with access to a beautiful and large 1,600 m2 garden. (This project is included in the price of the farm, the execution is valued as an independent concept).

The house is distributed on three levels. The house is accessed from the second floor, with internal communication by stairs and elevator. This floor is coordinated from a hospitable hall, which separates the day and night areas. In the day area, a large American kitchen with access to a living-dining room with a fireplace and high ceilings and panoramic windows takes center stage. The kitchen, in addition, communicates with two adjoining rooms that provide laundry services and an ironing area. Likewise, from the living room itself, we access a 32-meter-long terrace that runs along the entire perimeter of the façade, open to the panoramic view of the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.
The night area includes 4 rooms; a suite room with dressing room and jacuzzi, a second suite room (both with full bathroom), two double bedrooms and a third full bathroom. Again, this space revolves around a wide distribution-landing, with space for a Library and rest. All these rooms have direct access to the terrace that surrounds the entire floor. Additionally, this second floor has a large office and toilet.
The lower floor is made up of an indoor heated pool with a kitchenette, sauna, full bathroom, cellar and a large garage with capacity for four cars. In addition, it has a practical storage room.
The pool area has easy access to the large and intimate garden that completely dignifies and illuminates the estate. Not in vain, its 1,600 m2 provide life, light and rest. Its trees, palm trees, bushes, ponds and waterfalls are and will be witnesses to a lifetime of laughter, family and friendships. Special mention deserves the terrace and barbecue area, which will be the center of any sunny day facing the sea.
The upper floor is an attic used as a cinema and reading space, which in the reform project includes two children's/youth rooms and a leisure area.
At the level of communications, security and finishes, Villa Mimosas has an elevator, camera system and interior and exterior alarm. The closures are made of PVC with double glazing and top quality insulation, marble floors, air conditioning and natural gas supported by 20 solar panels, which serve the sanitary water and much of the heating. It also highlights its own water well with a 50,000 liter tank that supplies the necessary irrigation for the garden.
